American Girl Book Club
In this program, girls will follow a curriculum learning about cooking and storytelling of other cultures.
Our Nutrafit program is designed to ensure our campers and students receive nutritious meals, along with plenty of exercise. The program offers an educational component which teaches and encourages healthy eating habits. We use a proactive approach to introduce new fruits and vegetables in a fun, engaging, and non-threatening way which often involves a hands-on cooking class.
Our Nutrafit Mobile Summer Feed Program serves nutritious lunches to youth up to age 18 throughout Washington County and runs for ten weeks from June through August. Depending on community participation we operate in 15 - 20 sites each year and serve around 18,000 – 20,000 meals over the summer.
Mobile Feed uses the same educational approach as our Nutrafit program to teach healthy eating. It should be noted that all of this is done utilizing the invaluable services of community volunteers local to each site.
